Online PDF sites want your contracts, payslips and scans on their servers - or a monthly subscription. This toolkit does the common jobs on your own computer with one short command each, never touches your original file and refuses to overwrite anything unless you tell it to.

Good to know
- Python 3.8+ and one free library: python -m pip install -r requirements.txt
- Self-test passes on Linux with pypdf 5.1 and 6.x. Windows/macOS steps are in the guide but were not tested by me.
- Text extraction needs PDFs with a text layer (not scanned images). Compression is lossless.
- Original code. pypdf is a separate open-source project (BSD licence) installed by you; it is not bundled.
- Original content. No licensed brands.
